Day 9: The Midwife's Tale

Another very hot day, a Mad Dogs & Englishmen category of hotness, so it's the shade, a garden hose and some indolence required.  I spoke to Amelia about vet holding techniques, I'm a fan of the 'Midwives Don't Drop Babies' School of Management thinking that informs my method for Arlo. It's been previously proven on Amelia before she became too heavy for the single arm technique and the switch to shoulder. Arlo is being held in a grip to impress any NHS  midwife or Krav Maga practitioner during our video chat. Afterwards it's on to an advanced midwifery technique with his back on a cushion whilst I enjoy an espresso using the other hand. The day is too hot for even Arlo to be interested in his own  genitals so the rest of the day isn't notable beyond lounging techniques, cold drinks, sleeps, an evening walk and darkened rooms.
