Day 1: The Sploot

It's a full day completed together with Arlo finishing the day crashed out in his SW4 pad, limbs outstretched and fully intact of course.

A 15 minute walk before bedtime to wear him out a bit, exploring my corner of Clapham Common and deciding whether or not to leave a complimentary turd - we didn't.

Anti-lockdown parties everywhere with people hanging out in groups enjoying each other's company again late into the warm summer London night with music, birthday balloons and gazebos everywhere.

Arlo's walking limit, vet's orders, means a brief circuit, but there's a party spirit and it's great to be outdoors - Notting Hill Carnival without the Notting Hill bit.

A successful day too as this was Arlo's first trial of staying home alone in SW4 whilst Jane & I went to the new Bridget Riley show in Mayfair.

Four hours and happy with just the squeaky broccoli  toy for company. That's good as Monday is a longer stay indoors during my vaccination shift.

Walk Budget v Actual: 30 minutes
